Frank Dixon MUGYENYI

Senior Industry Adviser, Department of Trade and Industry, African Union Commission

Frank Dixon Mugyenyi joined  AUC In the Department of Trade and Industry in 2013 as a Senior Industry Adviser. Before this  Mr. Mugyenyi worked as an Industry Expert and Senior Economist for a number of Organisation including the United Nations, The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and other private Organisations.  

Prior to this Mr. Mugyenyi held various high level positions in various institutions  both in the United Kingdom and Africa mainly in, trade and industrial policy, value chain analysis and strategy development, private sector development etc and has an experience of over 20 years in developing countries relevant fields. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree  in Development Economics from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and various International  and Post Graduate Certificates including a one in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy from Harvard University.
